I am often asked what I do with all my botanical monoprints and what I use the processes for more broadly so I thought it might be helpful to bring some of those things together in a book.
This Project Book is a 56 page publication divided into 5 sections which explore the diverse possibilities of printing with plants, through 17 lovely projects.
- Printing onto Paper: this formed the foundation of my monoprinting journey. Printing onto paper is incredibly versatile, allowing endless possibilities for artistic expression.
- Printing onto Fabric: Begining with simple designs and progress to layered prints on wearable items. Upcycling provides an exciting way to rejuvenate tired clothing or create one-of-a-kind pieces from basic garments.
- Working with Clay: This section introduces printing with foliage onto air-drying or oven-baked clay.
- Printing onto Wood: Using pre-cut wooden shapes to make decorations and jewellery.
- Printing onto Furniture: With suitable paints or inks, you can print onto any surface, encouraging you to adapt the process for your own projects.
Whilst this book does give you step by step instructions for all of the processes, more detailed guidance can be found in the step-by-step guides that address common challenges and go deeper into the process. Additionally, my online video tutorials expand on these techniques to inspire further exploration, you can find more about these at the end of this booklet.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an instant download so you will receive a link by return email. It can be printed onto A4 paper or veiwed page by page on a screen, it can also be printed as a booklet using adobe acrobat. However you view it I hope you enjoy the processes.
