Celebrating November

Updated: Jan 28, 2022

I started the week thinking about a new project for 2022, I want to really focus on the birdscapes that I visit regularly, they are beautiful but fragile environments which support a great deal of wildlife. I have begun making paintings which are at my current exhibition at the Old Coastguards but I want to extend it and I think if I start in January it will become a seasonal exploration of the changing colours and inhabitants...

I have been thinking a lot about my current exhibition at the Old Coastguards and have updated the catalogue and price lists in readiness for the Meet the Maker event on Saturday 20th... which seems very close now. If you are able to join me for coffee cake and conversation I will bring along some of the printed catalogues and ebooks for you to take away, it is a lovely venue and I for one will enjoy looking out to sea at the spectacular views if nothing else... but of course I am also happy to talk about the paintings on show, my inspiration and process etc.

My newsletter went out to subscribers on Tuesday later than normal... My Zine ebook this month focused on the lovely Jackdaw, I found a couple of fables, poems and very interesting information to include, you can read it by subscribing its all free

I have also popped my Christmas Cards onto my website I only have a few designs you can find them here

Apart from this I have been spending time enjoying the very mild Autumnal weather, with local walks, observing the changes in the landscape and having conversations with my sheep, horses and released rescue birds which are now quite wild but still return for visits and to see if I have anything to offer them in the way of food!

here are a few snippets
